With the evolution of technology has come a new breed of IT Consultants, whose standards and mode of Operandi have changed, focusing on higher profits at the expense of the consumer. Generating these high profits often entails deception, overselling, entrapment, and cutting benefits to employees.
As an example, in one particular case, a Certified Microsoft Systems Engineer was required to generate about half a million a year to earn a seventy thousand dollar salary. This required over seventy hours a week of work, and personal sacrifices. This is an extreme case but is commonplace today.
